Fast Five is an Adventure thrill ride

If your the type of movie goer who enjoys action than look no further than the action movie of the year, Fast Five. The fifth installment in the franchise is loaded with action packed scenes. Fast five from the very opening picks up right where the previous movie ended, and is the prelude to great action that takes place during the entire film.

This fast and furious movie is different from the rest in that the cast is a combination of all the stars of the first four movies. Many cast member added a different element to the film, actors Tyrese Gibson and Rapper Ludacris added great humor to the film, and actress Gal Gadot added sex appeal to the movie. Actor Dwanye Johnson also does a great job in the film playing tough federal agent Luke Hobbs who will stop at nothing to get Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'conner (Paul Walker). Both Vin Diesel and Paul Walker give the movie a sence of familiarly from the previous four movies and work well together in this one. Fast five takes you on an adventure ride and keeps you strapped in until it ends.

The only negative with the film is that there weren't alot of racing scenes which may be a dissapointment to some of the fans of the previous films, but quite frankly with the amount of action that takes place in the film, it makes it pretty much a non issue. Fast five had a great cast that worked well together and great storyline to go with it. If your a fan of this franchise and enjoyed the previous four films then you will love this installment, and for those who haven't seen any of the fast and furious movies, Fast five will be a great way to spend two hours and will entertain you throughout.

Is it Lebron's Time

Throughout the history of the National Basketball Association there have a long list of hall of fame players who have had their moment to shine, and bask in the glory of their greatness. With Lebron James exceptional play in these 2011 NBA playoffs it begs the question is it his time.

Lebron has already vanquished his biggest playoff foe the Boston Celtics, a team that before this season had eliminated him and the Cleveland Cavaliers twice from postseason play. He then followed that up by eliminating the MVP of the NBA this season Derrick Rose, and his Chicago Bulls basketball team. A team that came into the postseason with a 62-20 record which was the best among all NBA teams. James spent the majority of the series guarding the bulls young superstar point guard Derrick Rose, and did a good job playing great lockdown defense on him. James made it hard for Rose to penetrate into the lane and came up with key defensive stops during crunch time.

Now James is one playoff series win away from winning his first NBA title. If he beats the Dallas Mavericks in the 2011 NBA finals it could be the beginning of a long run of playoff success and dominance in the future for him and his Miami heat team. This could lead to a potential string of NBA championships.

The Heat's big three of James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade are all young, and are all in their prime, and Judging from the fact that there are still some areas they can improve upon they will only get better as time goes on. With James leading the way with clutch shots and great lock down defense he is showing the excellence that players like Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan have shown in playoffs past.

If he continues to play at this high level in the NBA Finals and future NBA postseasons to come, then it will be his time, and we could then start to put his name next to some of the All time greats that have ever played the game of basketball. Many NBA analysts consider him to be the best basketball player in the game today but if wants to be considered among the elites like Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Larry Bird who have won championships and have a combined 14 titles among them, he has to do so by winning championships.

The spotlight is on him, now the question is will he finish the job and win his first title in what could be the beginning of a dynasty for him and his team, or will he fail to do so and face further questions about whether he can win it all, and lead his team to a title.

With the NBA landscape changing with teams like the Spurs,Celtics, and Lakers getting older and young teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Chicago Bulls still developing and progressing into serious title threats, it is his time. He has the right team, terrific talent and the great play that the greats before him have had the luxury of having. Only time will tell if he will either rise and meet those expectations people have for him or if he will he crumble under it.
